Share Your World — Week #39

Here’s a big thank you for Cee, who has provided the Share Your World

Share Your World

questions for this week.  My answer follows each question, and is written in blue.

Here are the four Share Your World questions for this week.    I hope you have some fun playing along.  It sure is fun learning about all of us.

  1. Crunchy Peanut Butter or Smooth?  Smooth, definitely, and more specifically Simply Jif.  I’ve had others that were okay, but that one is my very favorite.
  2. Is there a job you interviewed for and didn’t get that would have totally changed your life as it is now?  Please explain.  I was turned down for the Resident Coordinator position for the office which is now my landlord.  The woman who got the job is now Executive Director, and she has served everyone very well since 1994.
  3. What’s the most interesting “Ice Breaker” Question you have ever been asked? (This one is selfish, I’m always looking for more questions.)  I know there must be some in my past, but I cannot think of a single one.  There was this one guy, down in North Carolina, whom I had met at an impromptu party at my landlady’s house.  When I got out my guitar and started singing,Someday Soon, he stood up, walked over to me, put one hand on each side of my face, and kissed me, softly and sweetly.  He was my sweetheart for a long time after that.
  4. If you had the choice between an RV, a sports car, an SUV, or a bicycle, which would you choose and why?  If the choice included the ability to ride again, I would choose the bicycle.  If not, a smallish RV would be lovely, even if I parked it and slept in the parking lot every once in a while!

    • I never thought of that! Fortunately, he was fastidious about his teeth — his clothes were always covered with mud, because he was a potter. I’m going to take some pictures of one of my favorite pieces and post them, soon.

I love to read your thoughts...
