Share Your World Week #49

Cee has a new title for her blog.  You can find it here.  If you type her old blog name, you will be redirected to the new won, so you can’t lose!  These are the Share Your World questions for this week:

  1. What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?  Pamukkale, in Turkey.

Pamukkale is the site of numerous mineral springs which, over time, coat anything over which they flow, white.  The Turks named Pamukkale, which means Cotton Castle, for the rows and rows of white terraces that the mineral springs has formed.  This is nature at her best.  (Of course, I have to add in the cenotes of the Yucatan, underground caverns with crystal clear rainwater filtered through limestone.  Some, such as the one above, break open to the sky, and some are like big rock bubbles in the ground. Truly stunning!)

  2. What as your favorite food as a child? Do you eat it now?  Cottage cheese with yellow mustard.  And this was not fat-free, either.  The real, 4% fat stuff — I would have mainlined it, if I could have.
  3. Would you travel into outer space? In a heartbeat.  I’d go as the janitor of the space station bathrooms if they’d take me.  In fact, maybe I should call NASA and see if I can be the first diabetic/kidney failure/Morgellons Syndrome person in space.  Maybe they’d go for that! 😎
  4. Tell how you are feeling today in the form of a weather report. (For example, partly cloudy, sunny ?with a chance for showers, etc.)  Today was a mostly sunny day, with a brief thunderstorm in the afternoon, but everything is washed clean now. ☼☁☂☼
