Many thanks to Julia’s Place for this challenge, and for this week’s prompt:

…the angle was very acute…

The challenge is to write 100 words plus the prompt.  Here’s my effort:

I stood before the students in my art history class.

“Today,” I said, ” we take a look at angels.  These young-looking angels are called cherubim.  They aren’t baby angels, though they’ve been painted like this for thousands of years.

“I want each you to write a sentence describing a cherub from this painting.”

Later, I glanced through the papers, noting one in particular.  “Tommy, you wrote this?”

Tommy stood up and said, “Well, don’t you think the angel is cute?”

I thought about his description.  He had written, The angle was very acute.

This is what I get for teaching Art History to six-year-olds.
