I want to take a moment to explain — I don’t pay much attention to current music; I prefer 70s rock and R&B, and 80s rock and pop. But every once in a while I come across something really different, really unusual and special music. This time I’m about a year behind the time, but any of you who haven’t seen her, wait. Such comes from the bow of Lindsay Stirling — the hip-hop violinist, although she’s gotten away from hip-hop and is doing some original stuff and some great covers. She is Mormon, which was a little bit of a surprise, but her message is that one can stick to his or her beliefs and still have fun. I guess she played a super bowl — I must have been reading or something.
